SECTION 13 - ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS A chart showing the draw for the event, or section or sections of the event, being played on the green(s) of a Club together with a copy of the Conditions governing the Tournament shall, at all times while play is in progress, be displayed in a prominent position in or about the pavilion of such Club.
VARIATION OF PROGRAMME The Controlling Body shall have power to alter or amend the Programme of its Tournament as it shall consider necessary or desirable in view of unfavourable weather or other adverse condition, and may suspend play temporarily in any game, or abandon any game, and may also vary any of the Conditions of its Programme if it decides that such variation is essential to the successful carrying out or conclusion of the Tournament.
PLAYERS WITH DISABILITIES It is not the intention of the Laws to place a disabled player at a disadvantage. The following apply specially to disabled players (i) A player with a disability shall be permitted to use a support and/or artificial limb when delivering the bowl, or walking on the green. Such support shall be suitably shod with rubber, or similar material, at least 76mm in diameter and may be placed on or adjacent to the mat. (ii) A blind bowler’s assistant shall not be deemed to be in contravention of Law 63 if the assistant relays to the player the instructions of the Skip or keeps the player informed as to where the bowl finished after delivery. (iii) A bowler who is disabled to the extent that full body support is required shall not be considered to be foot faulting if the part of the support nearest to the bowling arm is on the mat at the point of delivery (e.g. for a right handed bowler in a wheelchair the right wheel must be on the mat at the point of delivery).
REGULATING SINGLES, TEAM AND SIDE GAMES The foregoing Laws, as applicable, shall apply equally to Singles, Team and Side Games.
VARIATIONS TO THESE LAWS Controlling Bodies are authorised to include in the Conditions of Play for specific events, variations to these Laws to allow alternative or innovative styles of play to be used. Such variations must be published in the Conditions of Play at the time entries are requested.
