SECTION 10 - GAME DECISIONS
 

47 GAMES PLAYED ON ONE OCCASION

(i) In the case of a Singles, Team or a Sides game played on one occasion, or at any stage of an eliminating competition, the victory decision shall be awarded to the Opponent, Team, or Side producing at the end of the game, the higher total score of shots, or in the case of a game of winning ends, a majority of winning ends or the winning number of sets.

(ii) In the case of competitions and/or games played on a time limit, it shall be the responsibility of the Controlling Body to ensure that the rules have been brought to the attention of Clubs and competitors who may take part in such game or competition.

48 TOURNAMENT GAMES AND GAMES IN SERIES

The victory decision shall be awarded in accordance with the Conditions of Play which must be published at the time that entries are requested.

49 PLAYING TO A FINISH AND POSSIBLE DRAWN GAME

If in an eliminating competition, consisting of a stated or agreed upon number of ends, it be found, when all the ends have been played, that the scores are equal, an extra end or ends shall be played until a decision has been reached.

Managers in a Side game, Skips in a Team game or Opponents shall toss and the winner shall have the right to decide who shall play first. The extra end shall be played from where the previous end was completed, and the mat shall be placed in accordance with Law 18A.

In the case of an extra end being tied the Managers, Skips or Opponents shall again toss, and the winner shall have the right to decide who shall play first. In the case of an extra end being declared dead the provisions of Laws 17E and 18A shall apply.
